Letter to Arkanae

[ The letter is written on fine parchment, and tucked into a red envelope. It is sealed with wax, stamped with the phoenix symbol of the Blood Knights. Postmarked to Hearthglen.]

Arkanae, 

I'm sorry that I have to deliver this news with just a letter. It seems so impersonal given the circumstances, but things are becoming tense in Quel'thalas. I doubt I will be able to leave anytime soon, lest it is to far-flung corners of Azeroth. There was an attack by Cult-affiliated persons last night. Crucifixions. Fingers, eyes, tongues and ears removed. Lacryma and I were able to stabilize one of the victims last night, but I doubt she will ever see or speak the same way ever again. I know not the fate of the second. 

The truly disturbing news is that Lacryma and I have discerned the identities of the attackers: Vlasta Dawnrunner and Jadoth Bloodreign. They were allied with the Argent Resolve until recently, were they not? I am told that they endured terrible things before finally breaking. Dawnrunner was unstable as it is, Bloodreign I'm not sure. 

This is the work of the Lightbreaker, through and through. 

News of the attack has spread quickly; I was approached by several magisters and non-affiliated Blood Knights. Thankfully, I believe the public does not know that it was Dawnrunner and Bloodreign. Yet.
