lol worgen stuff
Quick Note:
So, I know everyone clutches their pearls and cringes really hard when they hear anything about packs for Worgen and I totally get that. Because that's a rational reaction to a lot of the lulzy RP that has occasionally gone on with Worgen RPers in Stormwind and the like. But if you haven't cringed at this so far, mmmmmmmaybe you're interested!
What I'm Looking For:
Worgen who predominantly stay in their human form and would fall in line (or recognize it, even if they don't adhere to) loose wolf pack dynamics. These can be friends, acquaintances, or rivals and enemies oh noes. The reason I'm looking for this is because it can be really interesting and really creepy when done well, and I like messed up, weird stuff in RP.
I'd really love to get a group together Alurien can more or less rely on. I don't mind how this ends up playing out, I'm willing to let the RP flow how it wants to. It serves the purpose of me getting a more solid circle for him to hang with, too. And friends, yaaaay.
What That Means:
"lol pack dynamics, you just made that up viensa" I WISH I DID because that'd be really cool, but a bunch of Cursed folk/RPers do this to a degree, some less than others. I just happen to be a little more obnoxious and in your face with it. (Thanks, Alurien.) I went into a bunch of lol detail about how I personally play it over here: click! That's really tl;dr and I don't blame you for being all "stfu," so for more concise versions, scroll up to read Berkelley's and Penna's posts, which are just as good. I even have a tag on Alurien's tumblr for this because I'm dumb.
Last Note:
I don't want to throw out a total: I NEED THIS AND THIS because I'm kind of wary of doing that. I'd rather just tell people I'm looking for it, and if they're interested in it, or even better, have something like that to some kind of degree, I'd love to interact with you. If you're super interested and you want to see if we can work something out, hit me with a PM~ And I know this is super vague but I go into greater detail in the Gilnean Culture Society organization post, so yeahyeahyeah.
As long as they have an initiation ritual that involves a fake volcano and assigning new members cheesy nicknames and chanting the phrase "OOH HA HA!" I approve heartily. <3

In other news, which are not news at all, I love your pack-dynamic ramblings if simply because they provide for so much depth on both animalistic and human side of the characters. I don't think I could ever write a worgen/GIlnean well, though - or be committed enough to wave a supporting little flag. THIS IS, HOWEVER, SERIOUSLY SPARKLING MY INTEREST. My druid has been on the backburner for forever and I may look into revamping his concept. Because there need to be more male harvest witchers and I need more male characters to terrorize.

You know, I may possibly be interested. Probably not with my hunter, as he's always been a bit of a loner, but I think my rogue, Tarveili, could actually get some positive things going his way through something like this. He's kinda lost his way in life and is heading down a pretty dark path and yadda yadda new friends and something to make him work for would do him good (at least maybe keep his mind off all the crippling closet-skeletons keeping him down, haha.)
So, uh, yeah, if you wanna include my sad little puppyman into all this, let me know, haha.

aw, thank you! its fun to play up because it doesn't have to be just between worgen who have the whole pack dynamic thing going on, since we had alurien and wilhiem not-talking beside each other in bruuk's that one time and just making things tense between them because they're silly guys. it's something that can still create problems and tension and general "wtf" ness.
and i agree about male harvest witches so damn much. you should check out the carrierpigeons channel sometime if you have channel space
i'll letcha know if things get rolling :) i'm up for RP either way when i'm out and about on Alurien, so if I see you I'll try to figure out some kind of way for them to interact.

Ughhh, yes. Wil isn't worgen at all but the dynamic is something he, at least subconsciously, gets. Not nearly at that level, but he is still incredibly reliant and appreciative of basic instincts - and watching that play out was all sorts of c:

High society and wolf pack dynamics are scarily similar actually.
Just replying because Marjolaine is one of those almost-always-human-worgen who knows a bit about both pack dynamics and social climbing. She'd be down for playing with some other repressed puppies.

Right. So. I've got this worgen druid who doesn't actually admit to being a druid. And usually doesn't admit to being a worgen, although she's been getting slightly better at that and very, veeeery slightly more used to it. She's also a complete beta to her GF's alpha. And I really need to start exploring her wolfish pack instincts a bit more, whether she's in her little pack of two or in/interacting with a larger scale pack.
I've also got this assertive I AM ALPHA WOLF BITCH, YOU GOTTA DEAL WITH IT social climber merchant girlie. And a death knight who I'm not sure what position in the hierarchy she'd occupy, but it would probably be a somber/cool-headed/morose one. And she does strike me as being a bit on the dominant side.
Point is, I have a lot of worgens. Yes I do. And I need to do more with them.
And if for some strange, strange reason people WANT to hear long tl;dr wolfaboo lectures (although I do solemnly swear not to go into large "WOLVES DON'T WORK THAT WAY YOU SCRUBS" rants too often. We are after all playing fantasy werewolves instead of actual wolves.) I can provide that too.
Also, West Side Story rival worgen packs. I WANT TO SEE COORDINATED FINGER SNAPPING AND DANCE NUMBERS PEOPLE.

And now I have a few dozen plot bunnies that are sadly non-RP related chewing on my head, so this and next week being slow going might not be so bad. It'll at least give me a few days to try fending them off with a stick and a word processor. And hopefully THEN, when things are settled, I can enjoy a some nice relaxing RP of people showing their teeth at each other.

Moved her over from the Horde side today. This thread has been intriguing to me and I'd like to throw Arinn into the scheme of things. :3 She's a quiet soul, more of a mediator than anything, but was once a part of the GLF. She didn't last long there and was badly injured. Fully recovered (physically), her perspective on life has changed greatly.

When I get back tomorrow night I'm gonna try to write erryone down who's posted with a character name and figure out time to RP or chat with you. Aaand I don't mean to be terribly unfair but for alurien's group I'm looking for more guys since he has so few male friends as it is. But if lady run packs want to also use his thread to network and recruit that's totally cool! And I'm not ruling out womens or anything, but the most ofthe response has been from lady toons so pls 4 more dudes. I can honestly say it'd be weird if alurien headed a group of all females and they'd probably kill him in a days time.
