Lorienne is physically unremarkable, your average female Ironforge dwarf. Things that set her apart from the crowd are the impressive array of exotic pets she has at her command, and the charred hunk of elementium she wears on a chain around her neck.
Although Clan Goldhammer's heritage is primarily Bronzebeard in nature, there is some Wildhammer blood in Lorienne's immediate family, which helps to explain the wanderlust that has taken her all over both Azeroth and Outland and has led to her association with many interesting people on both sides of the factional divide.
Lorienne is considered a black sheep within the Goldhammer clan because she bucked the clan tradition of becoming a paladin or warrior, instead giving in to her wanderlust and choosing the path of the hunter. Ironically her actions since then have brought far more fame and recognition to the Goldhammer clan, much to their chagrin.
