Étain is slight of frame, with long, dark hair that she doesn't bother to style, but which hangs smoothly down her back.
 
Her face his heart-shaped with a small, pointed chin, full cheekbones, and a long, pointed nose.  Her eyes shimmer an exceptionally intense fel green, but there is the slightest hint of robin's egg blue beneath the fel taint,  Her mouth is small, with full lips.  Her eyes are sharp and guarded. She has a smattering of freckles across her nose.
 
She is slim, but not bony, with enough curve to fill out a dress.  Her hands are small and soft. She smells of cinnamon and clove.
 
A purple rune is carved into the back of her neck which glows faintly.  Around her neck and wrists are thin bands of smooth obsidian which seem to chafe.
