Dear Diary,
Everyone else is asleep now. Well, Lali is probably not asleep, but if she’s awake, I can’t hear her. I certainly wouldn’t be able to sleep if I was in her place. The party was lovely. It was at Kestrae’s house, and the tauren girl came — Lali said she was her friend growing up — as well as another older kaldorei woman. I didn’t know she was that old at first, but at one point she mentioned she had four kids, can you imagine? I guess she’s the only one who really knows about man stuff too. Well, being married stuff, Kestrae knows about man stuff. She said the boys weren’t coming to the wedding because they would be too rowdy and eat all of the food. I think the rangers will do the same thing.
There was so much wine! It was the fancy stuff too, from the shop across from the lounge. I really really wanted to have some, but I didn’t. Everyone said how good it was though, even the tauren had a little. I feel kind of bad for her, she must have felt as out of place as I did, and even worse, she couldn’t understand most of what people were saying. Lali kept having to tell her but of course she didn’t get everything. She was also very young I think, and kept getting embarrassed when the talk went too far in a certain direction. The edges of her ears kept getting pink! She seemed nice though.
Everyone was nice. It was lovely. I kept asking Lali to tell us everything but she pretended not to know what I meant! But the other kaldorei woman sure had a lot to say! She was funny. I hope she wasn’t too upset about me being there. Mostly Lali asked about how big things were supposed to be and whether it would be different after they got married. No one there had been married the way we do, so they didn’t know. Lali wondered about if the guys were talking about her. Maybe they were, I don’t know what guys talk about at these sort of parties.
We played the game with the blindfold and the picture of the man from the magazine. Lali drew some sin’dorei ears on it with the pencil. That was hilarious! Kestrae won, but the tauren came in second. They kept saying the funniest things about how he looked, I can’t even write it down. We did a toast — Kestrae had to explain what that was to everyone except for me — and there was also some lovely pink cake. I wanted to eat that too — food isn’t quite as dangerous as drinks — but I just tasted a little of the frosting. It was almost too pretty to eat, it had fluffy pink frosting and strawberries on top.
The only bad thing was that Kestrae was upset over her ranger. She said that he didn’t trust her. I kept out of it, because she was already upset, but honestly I could see why he thinks that sometimes. Seeing Lali so happy and getting ready for the wedding has to make it even more difficult, too. Hopefully everything will work out all right. We may not be the best friends but I don’t want her to be miserable.
I’m going to go lie down and rest. It doesn’t really do much, but it helps my mind slow down and relax for a while. It’ll be morning soon. I can’t wait!

Here's to the misfits, rebels, so called outcast. Those that see things differently. You can quote, disagree, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can't do is ignore them. Some say them crazy, I say genius. Those who usually try to change the world,do.

It was truly a great "girl"
It was truly a great "girl" party and women being women, they talked very freely about certain things. Amyn had a great time even if she did drink too much of that lovely wine.
Great RP last night that was very enjoyable.
Very nice read and accurate as to what went on. Thanks for sharing.
