A knight out

I went back to that bastards grungy tavern.. Kinza, Dyna, and Lorcain wanted to meet up for a drink, and for some reason Kinza has a strange affinity for that dump. Kinza Happened to come across me while I was interrogating the locals of Ironforge for any clues as to the whereabouts of Ms.Diane Marviere. (I wasn't really getting anywhere anyhow.)

I had no idea she had returned! It was great to see her again, although she looked a bit worse for where with her new crutches. I was under the assumption that Fuzzface was going to keep an eye on her. She doesn't move THAT fast after all. How hard could it have been? She had eluded that he had come to her rescue however and that her injuries may have been much more grievous had he not. I suppose know this I can't really hold it against the furry bastard. Kinza does let her determination lead her, I am sure that this must have been the case.

We sat for some time in the dingy hovel. We even came across another dranaie. Think her name may have been Lohkee although it kind of slips me at the moment. She brought some huge moth right up to the bar! The thing must have been as big as one of those chickens Alfour loves so much. Anything with a mouth big enough to swallow me whole and its own free will I still have a great deal of mistrust for. Kinza went on about the "nobility" of moths. Sounded just like Alfour and his chickens. Seems to me that they all hand out nobility a bit willy-nilly.

I don't imagine that after this engagement that Dyna and Ol' Fuzzface will be getting along very well. He had had quite a few drinks and seemed to be getting a bit tipsy. It all started out well enough. Lorcain petting Dynas dog like a long lost brother, sending his typical Lorcainy proposals Dynas way so Dyna can typically shut him down. It was a great time until Dyna had brought up a Foresaken that she had inadvertently left locked in her basement. I believe I may have been the only one there not feeling the effect of dwarven mead. My mouth still feels as dry as those wings on that moth. But I refuse to give that bastard a single copper piece!

But I digress...Fuzzface had apparently offended her with some comment about her siding with the rotters, and got her royally perturbed. I am afraid I missed the actual words that were said on account of me trying to moisten the barren desert known as my mouth with the sparse saliva that had been within. I did however notice Dyna storming out in a fit of anger and though it best if I left my comrades to go after her before I ended up on a month long quest to find her again. She has some really good hiding places.

I followed her all the way down to the canal district of Stormwind where I finally got out of her what the catalyst for her anger may have been. Apparently her husband had turned into one of them..from what I could understand in the midst of her rambling. For some reason I get the feeling she may have put him down as well. That would be enough to spark a fire under the ass of anyone as far as I can see. Probably work better than the old pants.

Well anyhow, while I was trying to calm her down enough to bring her back down to azeroth I happened to catch a glimpse of Ms Marviere out of the corner of my eye as she passed by! I reached out to grab her arm before she fled again just as Dyna was coming down off of her tirade. Apparently the young girl had not even known we were looking for her. When questioned as to her whereabouts her response was a simple "adventuring". A girl in this much danger, recently gutted, eye torn out, hardly walking, and she is out "adventuring"?!

I get the feeling that Dyna does not want to confine the girl even though I feel it would be for her own good. She may not like it now, but when this is all through she will be better for it. Look at my recent hostage situation at Arie Peak. If Kinza hadn't kept me there I have no doubt I would be physically a lot worse off than I am now. But I wish not to go against Dyna on this. I had come up with an invention during my travels in search of Ms Marviere for I had a inkling that this would be the young girls request. It is a comm device that links directly the my Geosyncronizer. Both Dyna and Diane seemed very pleased of my ingenuity. I did not however let Ms.Marviere know about the tracking capabilities of the comm device. The personasensor on my Geosyncronizer should be able to pick up the general direction needed to travel to acquire Ms.Marvieres whereabouts if she is to vanish on me again. I had told her to stay around populated areas for safety but I have no idea what runs through a young girls head.

She had trusted me enough to acquire my assistance and I wish not to fail her. She does not seem to ask for help from the Bastion much and does not wish to concern any of us in her affairs. It seems to me that this is one of the reasons we are all here, weather we like it or not. Most of the people I have met here seem to bring there own past full of troubles, strife, and loss. If we can not lean on each other in times of need we will not remain strong as a whole. This whole idea of going it alone that Dyna carries with her is very troubling. If there is one thing I have learned of my time at the Undercity, it is that you should never go it alone if it can at all be helped.

Speaking of getting help from your friends.....I wonder how Dyna is doing with my hair tonic..

Hostage Situation?   I should probably be offended by that!
