Kono sat in the middle of the road and watched as wave after wave of both defenders as well as the horrors flooded into Fairbreeze. All around her was both death and destruction as well as gleams of hope. She watched as a small goblin mage bounced around and gave a good fight. It had actually made her laugh, which hurt her ribs. Suddenly she heard a lone rider come up behind and dismount. Plated hands reached down to grip her around her waist. “No! NO I wont leave his body here… Please at least move his body fo…." She looked up to see a flash of red hair fall out of a pure white cowl. The knights armor was pure white with accents of gold. Inset in several places where dark purple gems. At her side was a sword that glowed purple and on her back was shield where purple runes skittered across the face. She knew that armour anywhere. Only one knight had ever worn that. "ZEE! Oh by the gods your alive… Zee please…” Tears filled the Konos eyes. A gently smile graced the face that looked down at her. She relaxed her grip on the young male that lay in her lap. Gently as she could the knight lifted her and carried her to the side of the road. With the same ease and care she brought over Lee for her also. She held him closely. Never once did the knight utter a word but then again she never had too. You just knew.
She watched as Zee had turned towards the battle and rushed forwars. In between the faceless horrors and cultist she had caught glimpses of the white and gold cape which now had been stained crimson with unknown things blood. The edges now where tattered and torn, stained with mud on the bottom. Some how her boot seemed to avoid stepping on those that had fallen. Hope filled her chest. Medics had run up to try to help move the wounded back. She continued to watch the knight as they started to move her to the backlines.
Suddenly Zee stopped moving and stood still as if frozen. Kono could not see what was going on in front of her, nor could she hear anything due to the sounds of the battle around her and the medics asking her questions. Her view was suddenly obscured by a large orc who raised a blade and struck the knight with one quick blow. A silent scream escaped her lips. She fought against the medics but it did her no good. She watched as the faceless horrors pulled the knight towards portals in the background.
All around her other retreated. They ran. Cowards the lot of them she thought. How could they just let them take those that had given their lives to protect everything. The medics must have given her something to sedate her because her eye lids grew heavy. She could still hear the sounds of battle around her as she drifted off to sleep. “Start pulling the Farstriders off the wall.”“Use them to start filling the gaps.”

ya zee had actually taken kono in at a very young age and had her trained as a rogue. She has been employed by zee for a long time now and sees her as a mother.
Here's to the misfits, rebels, so called outcast. Those that see things differently. You can quote, disagree, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can't do is ignore them. Some say them crazy, I say genius. Those who usually try to change the world,do.
